Boys Hope Girls Hope of Illinois provides holistic services to foster growth in our Scholars and to cultivate their innate resilience. Get involved in helping our scholars succeed!
WAYS TO CONNECT & SERVE
From meal prep to residential maintenance, we could not function without the dedication of volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, there are plenty of ways you can get involved at Boys Hope Girls Hope of Illinois. If you’re interested in one below, fill out our volunteer form so that we can learn more about you!
Academic Tutor
Scholars are assigned to a tutor with knowledge of his or her troubled subject and work together during study hall hours.
College Mentor
Help our Scholars prepare for college by assisting them with their personal statements, supplement essays, and application processes for college. (2-year commitment)
Life Mentor
Match with a Scholar and walk alongside them in their journey through navigating school, extracurriculars, relationships, and becoming a young adult. (4+ year commitment)
Driver
Our Scholars are very active kids participating in a variety of extracurriculars, and we can’t manage it all without you! Simply help us chauffer our Scholars to and from their activities.
Dinner Prep & Guests
Help us with meal time! You can either prepare and drop off, have food delivered, or better yet, prepare and join us for dinner! We love guests!
Life Skill Workshop
If you enjoy conducting engaging workshops geared toward young adults and their developmental needs, volunteer to be a presenter or facilitator where you can expand our Scholars’ awareness of an activity, hobby, career, or life skill you are passionate about!
